MICHAEL S. VASIN

Michael S. Vasin represents corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of business, employment, and real estate matters. Prior to joining Buley Law APC, Mr. Vasin was Of Counsel at Kushner Carlson, PC, where he represented corporate and individual clients in various litigated matters and also provided general legal and business advice and guidance, including drafting, analyzing, and litigating contracts such as Real Estate Purchase Agreements; Commercial / Residential Leases; Declarations of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions; Franchise Agreements / Franchise Disclosure Documents; Licensing Agreements; Sub-Contractor Agreements; and Non-Disclosure Agreements.

Mr. Vasin was previously a partner at Sullivan, Ballog & Williams, where he represented both large institutional clients and small businesses in all manner of civil litigation, including employment law, federal civil rights, municipal law, business disputes, premises liability, and personal injury / wrongful death defense. Mr. Vasin has extensive experience in both state and federal courts throughout California from El Centro to Sacramento.

Mr. Vasin was born and raised in Southern California. He received his undergraduate degree in Journalism, with honors, from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunications, and his law degree, also with honors, from Chapman University School of Law. During law school, Mr. Vasin was selected to serve on Chapman’s Law Review, and he was also selected to serve as a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert W. Alberts, United States Bankruptcy Court Judge, in 2001 and the Honorable Alicemarie H. Stotler, United States District Court Judge, in 2002.

Mr. Vasin was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2003 and the State Bar of Arizona in 2004. He is also admitted to practice in all United States District Courts in both California and Arizona, and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the Orange County Bar Association.
